Events and training opportunities
If you are new to the world of ModelWHO simulations or wish to take part in more events, we offer training opportunities all year long. Our two main events, each happening once a year, are our Chapter simulations: LonWHO (London) in the fall and SheffWHO (Sheffield) in the spring. Starting from 2021 and open to all, we also run an online summer school (Academy programme) with both a delegate and chair training tracks. We also run ad-hoc training workshops for university departments and societies. If you are interested in this, please contact our Training Director Neha at ukmodelwho@gmail.com.
Join the team
At the moment, recruitment to join our Committee and Board of Trustees are closed. All opportunities will be advertised on our website and social media platforms. However, we always welcome emails of interest so we can keep your name in mind and let you know when applications reopen. Please keep in mind that most positions require at least one experience with ModelWHO simulations, so if you are new to them, have a look at our training opportunities!
Chapters
If you live in the UK and are interested in setting up a ModelWHO simulation locally and be a part of our network of ModelWHO sims, have a read at our Chapters booklet here to learn more about the application process to set up a Chapter and receive all the support and advice you need to organise a successful event. Once you have a few founding members in mind, reach out to our Chapters Director Ivan at ukmodelwho@gmail.com who will guide you through the next steps. We look forward to hearing from you!
ORGANISATIONS

Partners

If you are a global/public health-related organisation and if students and young professionals are your primary audience, consider forming a partnership with us! By partnering with other organisations with similar aims to ours, we hope to grow in our goal of empowering young global health enthusiasts and better train on and advocate for important global health issues. Our partners comprise ModelWHO organisations outside of the UK, with which we hope to share experience and expertise but also support with organising and chairing. If you are interested in a partnership, reach out to our Partners Director Thalia at ukmodelwho@gmail.com. For more information, please have a look at our partners booklet here.

Universities
We are always looking for opportunities to engage more students with our activities and broaden our reach. If you are a university department, please consider advertising our events and opportunities to your students, by redirecting them to our website and social media channels. We are also always happy to deliver ad-hoc training workshops for academic programmes and societies. If you are interested in this, please contact our Training Director Neha at ukmodelwho@gmail.com. If your university is interested in setting up a UK ModelWHO Chapter, please refer to the “Chapters” section.

Sponsorship
The UK Model WHO organisation is entirely run by volunteers. If you are a senior organisation wishing to support our efforts in providing high-quality interactive training to hundreds of students and young professionals in global health diplomacy, please reach out to ukmodelwho@gmail.com. Financial and non-financial (advertising, materials, network) contributions help us grow our organisation, develop the training opportunities we are able to offer and make them more affordable to participants from all backgrounds. For more information on how you can support us, please have a look at our sponsorship booklet here.
